About this Event
Brave Miss World is the story of Linor Abargil, who was raped six weeks before she had to represent Israel in the Miss World competition. This film explores the trauma of sexual assault through one young woman’s journey from teenage rape victim to Miss World to empowered lawyer and activist.
The Fem Flicks Film Series is a joint effort of the UNT Women’s Studies Program, the UNT Multicultural Center and the UNT Media Library.
