About this Event

The Learning 101 Series provides topics students need to be effective and successful at UNT. The presentations are interactive and practical and will be offered in Willis Library this semester.

  • Presentation Skills - As a student you will give many presentations. Learn all of the steps for developing interesting, professional presentations.

  • Time Management - Do you find yourself procrastinating or falling behind? Learn how to utilize a planner and prioritize tasks so that you can achieve balance between school, work, and social activities.

  • Test Taking Skills - Whether you’re taking an objective exam or writing for an essay test, there are a variety of efficient study techniques you should implement. Also, receive advice on how to decrease test anxiety.

  • Note Taking Skills - Most professors create their exams using information from class lectures. Learn to listen for key points and test material during class.
