Does anybody know why UNT only has Thursday - Sunday off for students? While most other state universities has the entire week off?
Please no hating comments. Or anything like “you can choose to ditch, it’s a university and you’re an adult you can decide what’s the best for you”
I’m just curious. Not complaining
Parking Question: We purchased an RR permit for our son. It is one of the more expensive permits but it gives him a reserved spot next to his dorm. If we had purchased the R permit he would have been walking half way across campus at night after work. Yesterday realized the RR permit doesn't give him parking privileges at Discovery Park where most of his classes are. He talked to the parking permit folks yesterday. They suggested paying for a temp permit ($5 per day), pay for hourly parking, or risk the parking tickets. Seriously? UNT has to do better than that. Is there someone else to talk to at UNT that might be able to help?

Allergen-free dining hall!
Yay!!
My daughter wants to sign a lease at UC Denton for next year. There are bad reviews about poor management and roaches but then it was voted one of top three places to live by the People’s Choice in the Denton Chronicle. Anyone have a child currently living there that can tell me about its current condition?
