Together with the North Texas Alumni Association, Parent Programs at UNT is excited to host the Legacy Lunch program. This event will honor our parent and family alumni with current UNT students at a luncheon and pinning ceremony. Parent & Family Connections Program 

The Parent & Family Connection program is designed for parents who want more information to help their students continue to succeed at UNT. Join us for a dinner program to gain more information on how to tackle some of the challenges your students (or you) have faced.

Where:  UNT

What: Lunch with informative speakers + FREE tickets to the UNT Women’s Basketball Game. 

Parent Programs, along with the UNT Parent Association, proudly offer Send-Off Parties across the state of Texas and around the country. Send-Off Parties are events where new UNT students and their families can meet others in the area also going to UNT. Staff from UNT will be in attendance to answer any last minute questions you might have before Move-In Weekend in August. Join us for a free meal and prizes (like your chance to win a free registration to Family Weekend or a $250 scholarship for the fall)! Must be in attendance to be eligible for prizes. These events are free for UNT students and up to 2 guests, but an RSVP is required. Guests are encouraged to arrive within the first hour of the scheduled party to be eligible for the prize drawings. Parent Programs has partnered with BreakShuttle to provide break transportation for UNT students during both Thanksgiving and Spring Break. BreakShuttle is the largest national provider of college and university break transportation services in the United States. They are committed to providing reliable, safe, and convenient transportation services on luxury coach buses that allow even the most remote colleges and universities to have a "pop up" transportation network around major school breaks. Bus trips are provided by BreakShuttle, a separate entity from the University of North Texas. The office of Orientation and Transition Programs at the University of North Texas works with BreakShuttle to ensure these trips are possible.
