DENTON - Mean Green Productions continues season three of the Born and Bred mini-series, presented by Marty B's. Born and Bred features the personal stories and backgrounds of some Mean Green student-athletes prior to their arrival in Denton, taking you to their hometowns to meet their families, coaches and communities that helped create their passion for their sport and set them on a path for success.

Series three takes you to Abilene, Texas, Ennis, Texas and Celina, Texas to visit the hometowns of defensive lineman Dion Novil, linebacker KD Davis, and volleyball's Barbara Teakell, exploring their journeys to Denton.

This installment takes you to Celina to visit with Teakell, her family, and those who have impacted her the most. Catch Teakell and Mean Green volleyball in action at the North Texas Challenge Sept. 19-21 at the Mean Green Volleyball Center.
