Collegiate Panhellenic Council

The Panhellenic Association is the governing body of the eight National Panhellenic Conference sororities at the University of North Texas. Panhellenic is an organization established to foster interfraternal relationships, to help collegiate chapters of the National Panhellenic Conference member groups, and to assist in maintaining the highest scholastic and social standards. The council enables the sororities to work together more effectively on campus.

The individual organizations are dedicated to personal development, academic achievement, leadership growth, and service to the campus and community. Activities may include community service projects, educational programs, leadership training, study halls, sisterhood retreats, intramural sports and fraternity mixers. Above all, sororities foster close friendships that will last through college and beyond. Panhellenic meets weekly to discuss the current issues facing the Greek Community, plan upcoming events, and serve as a link between UNT administration and individual organizations.

Panhellenic Creed

We, as Undergraduate Members of women's fraternities, stand for scholarship, for the guarding of good health, for the maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony, with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities.

We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.
