Semaj Garrett, UNT Dallas College of Law 3L, discusses her journey as a Part-Time Student

Semaj Garrett - a rising 3L part-time student at UNT Dallas College of Law, is eager to experience the new UNT Dallas Law Center facility.  Semaj says she's excited but still has a lot on her plate while balancing studies, a husband and three children.  She currently serves as Co-Chair for the Dallas Women Lawyers Association 2019 Leadership Class and a member of the UNT Dallas College of Law Board of Advocates, the Black Law Students Association, and the Women in Law Student Association.  Semaj is a Sarah T. Hughes Diversity Scholarship recipient and is determined to make a difference in the legal landscape of Dallas once her law school journey comes to an end.
