UNT Golf Opens Play in Hawaii

LAHAINA, Hawaii – The North Texas men's golf team opened up play at its final tournament of the fall season on Friday at the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic.
 
After one round, the Mean Green are in 18th place at 6-over par.
 
UNT was led by redshirt junior Kristof Ulenaers, who shot a 1-under 70 and is tied for 47th, while junior Viktor Forslund shot an even-par 71 and is tied for 57th.
 
The Mean Green will tee off Round 2 at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, and will be paired with Gonzaga, Connecticut and George Washington for a shotgun start.
