Taking on challenges voluntarily makes people stronger. My Study Abroad experience helped me get out of my comfort zone, adjust my priorities, and understand what I want my life to look like. It was great to break my routine, improve my time management skills, appreciate my life, gain perspective, be more organized, and become more independent. Learning is so much more than memorizing textbooks. I met many people while travelling that opened my eyes to many new perspectives that I never would have been exposed to in Texas. Open-mindedness and critical thinking to analyze the things you hear is what college should be all about.

My Study Abroad experience was incredible, and I look forward to helping other students grow and learn about world cultures. Study Abroad changed my life, and I want other students to experience how awesome that is. I believe that travel is essential to becoming a well-rounded person. I want to make the world a more educated, understanding, and kind place because learning about other cultures also helps you become a better person.
