Love, fear, and utter shock are what study abroad means to me. For love, I was surrounded by people that I cared for and that cared for me. Whenever we needed one another, there was no hesitation on where to go. For fear, I was alone in a foreign country at times, just all by myself in constant worry. Somehow I managed to get through it all and only slightly enhance my homesickness. Lastly for shock, I saw a different side of the world, one that the movies and tv shows tend to leave out. A side where I think of a certain place and I imagine one specific moment that I will always remember.
