Spring Audition Schedule

Audition Dates: November 15-26, 2019

1.Complete an updated information form: Spring 2020 Audition Information Form 

2.Enroll in the Wind Studies ensemble holding section - Anytime before 12/1/19 - You must be enrolled so we can swap you!!!

• Undergraduate students enroll in: Mulb 1806.520
• Graduate students enroll in: Mulb 5173.520

​3. Sign up for a time slot: Sign Ups Now Posted

***We have a limited timeframe to hold auditions this year, so you will need to make arrangements to sign up around your classes.
If you have a class conflict with time slots available for your instruments please email heather.coffin@unt.edu to coordinate your audition time. 
THIS IS ONLY FOR CLASS CONFLICTS!!! ***

• Flute 
• Oboe
• Bassoon
• Clarinet
• Saxophone
• Trumpet
• Horn
• Tenor Trombone
• Bass Trombone
• Euphonium
• Tuba
• Percussion
• Piano

4. Audition Materials:

• Prepare a one minute excerpt(s) from your jury piece that demonstrates technical and lyrical elements
• If you do not participate in juries for the current semester prepare a one minute excerpt of your choice which demonstrates technical and lyrical elements 

5. Ensemble assignments will be posted once all auditions are completed- date TBD

• Once you are assigned you will be swapped from the holding course into your assigned ensemble
• If you are unable to fulfill your assignment for any reason you MUST inform the Wind Studies office via email to heather.coffin@unt.edu
• If you drop or are not returning to school please let us know ASAP so that your position can be replaced
