User Support Services move up in Sage Hall

After being on the first floor of Sage Hall since June 2012, the UIT Help Desk moved to the second floor in March 2017 and moved up again Oct. 2 to the third floor into Room 330, a former classroom.

Under the leadership of Richard Sanzone, director of UIT's IT User Services, Sharuk Mithani, IT service desk manager, and Katrina Flachsbarth, computer lab supervisor, made the move upstairs to bring together the UIT Help Desk, Adaptive Computer Lab and Microcomputer Maintenance Services into a five-room suite. Eight student assistants from the UIT Help Desk and three from MMS also help facilitate the move. The UIT Help Desk, formerly called the Computing Information Technology Center, was located in Sycamore Hall for many years, said Jacob Flores, former Help Desk manager.
