Thank you so much for your interest regarding our Ph.D. in Music (Performing Arts Health). We in the UNT College of Music are pleased to offer this innovative curriculum in partnership with our colleagues in the UNT Health Sciences Center.

The preferred deadline to submit a complete application portfolio to the College of Music Admissions Office for the following fall semester consideration is the first Monday in December each year. Please note that the area pays close attention to all parts of the portfolio but places special emphasis on the examples of your scholarly writing and your statement of personal interest. After a review of your portfolio, the Performing Arts Health faculty will decide whether you will be invited for an interview; the interview is optional but recommended.
