Hazards such as tornadoes, severe thunderstorms, and unnatural man-made disasters often occur with little to no warning. As a university community member, the best thing you can do in order to be resilient is to prepare for these emergency situations far in advance. Once they occur there is often very little time to prepare for the effects of the disaster.
