Recruiting On Campus/Building a Presence

Building a Presence on Campus

Brand awareness is a key recruiting element, and we encourage you to build it early with frequent on-campus visits and engagement with our students.

Career Fairs and Networking Events

Each fall and spring the Career Center offers industry specific networking events and larger major career fairs. Here, companies have the opportunity to make connections with students and alumni in a variety of formats that meet the needs of their organization. On-Campus Interviews

Recruiting on-campus in one of the Career Center’s 18 interview suites is an effective way to gain visibility and recruit superior talent for your organization. For additional information about On-Campus Interviews click here.

Tabling

Tabling

With a referral from the Career Center, you have the option to table outside of the UNT Library Mall in the main center of campus for free up to three times a semester. Additionally, you are welcome to table inside the UNT Union for a fee paid to UNT Union Scheduling.

Student Organizations

Student Organizations

Connect and get involved with one or more of hundreds of academic and social UNT student organizations. We can connect you with specific club officers and/or the student organization’s full time staff advisor. By doing this, you are typically offered the opportunity to present at a general meeting and/or for club officers throughout the academic year.

Speaking Opportunities

Speaking Opportunities

Our Career Center has relationships with faculty across campus that often welcome employer speakers to their classes to speak on particular industry topics.

Employer Partnerships

Employer Partnership Program and Sponsorship Opportunities

Career Center events and services would not be possible without the support of employers. There are multiple ways to partner that meet your individualized needs.

Etiquette Dinner

You have the opportunity to sponsor a table of seven students in your major recruiting area. Throughout the program, students are coached on how to have a professional presence during a business meeting and/or meal. A full three-course dinner will be served and employers are able to table prior to the start of the program.
