Scope and Contents: The contents of this collection were assembled by four generations of the Knowles family.  The original collection was divided and donated to multiple repositories.  The University of North Texas received a large collection of postcards that document the cities, counties, state parks, lakes and rivers, and regions of Texas.  The collection also has a collection of cards that cover humor, Mexico, London, and various locations in the United Kingdom.
