Abstract

This is a collection of meeting notes, minutes, and member information for the University of North Texas Staff Council from the years 2001-2006.

Scope and Contents of the Materials

This collection contains minutes, correspondence, surveys, group lists, meeting notes, and information about bylaws, committees, new member orienation, and constituents of the University of North Texas Staff Council from the years 2001-2006.

Collection Historical Note

The University of North Texas Staff Council, renamed the University of North Texas Staff Senate in March of 2013, was established in the fall of 1999. Elected members to the senate represent and provide service to over 2,300 staff members at the University of North Texas. The senate exists to refer issues and inform the university administration on items that are of interest and/or relevant to staff members, to continue to improve the delivery of services to the university's constituencies, to foster communication within the campus community, and to advance the university's overall mission.
