About the College of Education
The University of North Texas has been an innovator in preparing educators since being established in 1890 as a teacher’s college. Today, the College of Education continues this tradition by developing professionals who help others reach their full potential through powerful learning, social-emotional wellness, physical health and civic engagement. The college offers 6 bachelor’s, 11 master’s and 9 doctoral degree programs that provide the training and field experience needed to teach people how to live more productive lives.
