Study Abroad and Exchange Opportunities for Music Students

International Exchanges offer an academically challenging opportunity that enable UNT students to attend universities abroad for an academic year or semester and earn credit in most major fields. Participating students make normal academic progress for about the same cost as studying at UNT. Students pay tuition and fees at UNT and room/board and other normal expenses at the host institution in the host country.UNT students enroll in courses as regular students and are responsible for all course work and examinations. Students live in university accommodations and participate fully in the life of the host campus. Participating students may enjoy several periods of travel before the academic year begins, during holiday periods and after the completion of the program.

Selection Procedures
Interested students must complete an Exchange Program Application (obtained in the Center for Global Learning and Experience, ISB rm. 204), arrange for faculty recommendations, provide a personal statement, provide official transcripts, and be interviewed by an International Exchange Review Committee. Music Students may consult with Music Liaison, Becky King throughout this process, as needed.
