On Campus Opportunities

Departments on campus would benefit tremendously from your experience!

The Elm Fork Education Center is seeking volunteers to provide general assistance, conduct tours and disseminate information.  Their website is located at http://www.efec.unt.edu/volunteers.html with contact information listed.

Off Campus Opportunities

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Denton County supports nearly 150 agencies across Denton County and is part of United Way of Denton. Events/RIPS (Retired Instructors, Personnel, and Spouses)

 
RIPS was established in 1972 to maintain a relationship with retired faculty and staff through social events. The Advancement Office along with an advisory committee plan the events for the group. Currently RIPS holds four events each year. The advisory committee encourages input concerning what type of activities the group would enjoy.

Reporting the Death of a Retiree

In the event of the death of a retiree, notify Human Resources via e-mail at HRBenefits@unt.edu,  or phone at 940-565-4250.  Human Resources will have insurance and retirement issues to handle and will make the appropriate contacts.
