WACO, Texas- North Texas advanced three players to the round of 32 on Friday at ITA Regionals in Waco.

Barbora's win over the No. 8 seed," said North Texas Head Coach Sujay Lama "Without a doubt, Nadia was involved in the best
match of the day. She put a great fight against the No. 4 seed. Eventually falling
in 3 sets. We are pleased to advance 3 players to the round of 32."
Barbora Vykydalova advanced to the round of 32 by defeating Bianca Discordia of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 6-0; 6-2, then toppling No. 8 seed Katariina Tuohimaa of TCU 6-4; 7-6.
Nadia Lee defeated Texas A&M's Sheri Oliver 6-1; 6-4 before falling to the No. 4 seed Sona Novakova of Baylor 6-4; 1-6; 6-1.
Madura Ranganathan defeated Natalia Mayuk of UTA 6-4; 6-2 then Natalia Mayagoitia of Lamar 6-3; 6-2.
No. 13 seed Irina Paraschiv defeated Giada Dortona of UTA 6-3; 6-2 in her only match to reach the round of 32.
