UNT Health's Physical Therapy (PT) clinical program began seeing patients this week in suite 165 of the Patient Care Center (PCC). The clinical services are in addition to the new Physical Therapy doctorate degree at the UNT Health Science Center.

The PT faculty practice is open to patients for rehabilitative care following injury and trauma, as well as for general wellness and prevention.

The PT clinic features cutting-edge equipment including Tarrant County's first anti-gravity treadmill, which allows for rapid return-to-work therapy following a procedure, or continued cardiovascular workouts without stress and strain to the joints.

Michael Connors, PT, assistant professor and director of Clinical Services, serves as the primary clinician for the PCC clinic. His primary area of expertise is in the evaluation and treatment of patients with neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction. He also has experience in treatments ranging from basic orthopedic injuries to complex reconstructions and orthopedic trauma.

To contact the PT clinic or schedule an appointment, call 817-735-5400.

If you are with the media and need additional information or would like to arrange an interview, please contact the Office of Marketing and Communications at 817-735-2446.
