- READ THIS WEEK'S GAME NOTES - DENTON, Texas - The North Texas volleyball team is one victory shy of just the fifth 20-win campaign in school history. The squad standing in its way of accomplishing that feat is its Sun Belt West Division Co-Champion, No. 4 seed Arkansas State. The No. 5 Mean Green and the Red Wolves will clash in the opening round of the Sun Belt Tournament on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. from the Murphy Center in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The winner will face either No. 1 Middle Tennessee or No. 8 South Alabama on Friday. ASU and North Texas split a pair of matchups this year with the road team winning on both occasions, but NT took the last meeting Jonesboro on the strength of the year's biggest comeback - a 2-1 come from behind win in five sets. |
