Holds
A hold may be placed on an item that is checked out to another patron. A notification e-mail is sent when the item is ready for pick up. Items must be picked up within 48 hours. Requests to place materials on hold may be made in person, by e-mail, or by telephone. The patron is responsible for all materials checked out and for any fees incurred.
Hold pickup and cancellation notices will be sent to the preferred email address listed in MyUNT. Patrons are responsible for keeping personal information up to date in this system.
To place a hold in person:
You must present a valid UNT ID card.
To place a hold by phone:
Call the Media Library at (940) 565-2480 during regular hours.
To place a hold by e-mail:
