MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Amy Huddleston led the North Texas volleyball team to the Sun Belt Tournament semifinals, and became the first Mean Green player to make the All-Tournament team since 2006. As a matter of fact, Huddleston is now only the third North Texas player to ever make an All-Sun Belt Tournament squad (Brittney Gregory '06, Corina Marginas '03). In NT's two matches, the senior landed a team-high 26 kills on .237 hitting. She also landed three aces and seven total blocks. The No. 5 seed Mean Green swept past No. 4 Arkansas State in the first round, but couldn't hold off the eventual champions, No. 1 Middle Tennessee. Huddleston finishes her career with 1,332 kills and 3,533 attacks, which both rank third in school history. All-Tournament Team |
