Miss The Thesis/Dissertation Submission Deadline for Summer 2010 Graduation?

If you applied for Fall 2010 graduation but did not submit a thesis/dissertation by the October 29th deadline, your application will be forwarded and processed for Spring 2011 graduation.

If you submit the electronic and hard copies of the defended paper and abstract, and a signed Final Defense Form by December 10, 2010, you will earn an exemption from the requirement of 5950/6950 thesis/dissertation enrollment for Spring 2011. After this date, enrollment in 5950/6950 will be required during the Spring 2011 semester.

International students must verify enrollment requirements relating to immigration/Visa status with International Advising. Government regulations/requirements override this option.

Graduation Fees

All graduation fees must be paid to Student Accounting in the Eagle Student Services Center (ESSC) before submitting graduation forms to the Graduate School. Alternatively, you may include a check (payable to UNT) if you mail your application forms to the Graduate Office. Please fill in the appropriate amounts on the Registrar’s Office Card (1/2 sheet) prior to paying fees. This office cannot accept unpaid or incomplete application materials. Submit a copy of the receipt showing all fees have been paid with your application.

Master’s Degree: No fees
Master’s Degree & Thesis: $20 archiving, $25 microfilming
Doctoral Degree & Dissertation: $20 archiving, $25 microfilming

A $25 late processing fee will apply to all applications received after the first deadline as listed above.

Students who wish to take advantage of additional ProQuest services (such as ProQuest's "Open Access" publishing option) will need to pay any additional fees directly to ProQuest.
