UNT System Chancellor Lee Jackson has appointed a 23-member Presidential Search Advisory Committee led by UNT alumnus and former UNT System Board of Regents Chairman Bobby Ray ('69) and made up of a broadly representative group of university and community stakeholders.

The committee is working with Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates, a search firm with a successful record in higher education executive searches, which is providing external expertise.

The committee and search firm are working together to identify highly qualified candidates to recommend to the UNT System Chancellor and Board of Regents.

Timeline:

• The search process is expected to be concluded by February 2011.
• The new president is expected to be appointed before the beginning of the 2011-12 academic year.
