UNT's College of Music is one of the nation's largest and most respected comprehensive schools of music. Responsibilities include the teaching of undergraduate classes in Music Theory and Aural Skills, dealing effectively with the reality of very large enrollments; counterpoint, and post-tonal theory. Graduate deficiency courses may be assigned. Experience with classroom technology and software-based instruction is desirable. The faculty member we seek will participate in division and college level service including advising and mentoring undergraduate students, and serving on committees as appropriate.

Direct the UNT Jazz Singers, the College of Music's top vocal jazz ensemble. Coordinate vocal jazz activities, including touring and recording.
