Nevada Cohort - Facts

Estimated Costs

The approximate cost of the master's degree program is $340 per semester credit hour.

These are estimated costs only and subject to change. 

An Online Learning Community

The Nevada Program students will stay together as a cohort through their first year of study and will be in classes limited to only cohort students.  Cohort students are encouraged to participate in the SLIS Village where they will have a neighborhood of their own.

Practicum Requirements

Department of Library and Information Sciences Students must present evidence of relevant field experience through prior experience or by taking a field experience course in addition to the 36 semester hours required for the Master's degree.

The field experience does not count toward the 36 semester hours required for the masters.
