How to Use Your Refund

Use your financial aidMoney provided to the student and the family to help them pay for the student's education. Major forms of financial aid include gift aid (grants and scholarships) and self help aid (loans and work). refund to pay housing charges. The UNT Department of Housing and Residence Life will bill you for on-campus housing and dining costs.  Your financial aid doesn’t directly pay for the housing charges.  You’re responsible for paying for these costs.

Refunds should also be used to pay for other educational expenses such as books, supplies and transportation.
