The RTVF Department offers the Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, Master of Science, and the Master of Fine Arts Degrees in radio, television and film.  The RTVF Department has been named one of the top programs in broadcast education by author Leonard Mogel in the book This Business of Television. In addition to this national recognition, the RTVF Department is one of the leading programs in the State of Texas and across the Southwest Region. An outstanding faculty, a great learning facility, and co-curricular activities via KNTU-FM and North Texas Television (NTTV) provide a wonderful setting for study and learning.

Our undergraduate degree program encompasses both creative skills-based training along with theoretical knowledge covering history, criticism, management, economics and policy, all built upon a strong liberal arts foundation. This educational experience prepares students for many different career opportunities in and around the electronic media and film industries, as well as preparation for advanced study.
