Pre-Requisite and Requirement Changes
If you are a current or prospective BS-BCIS major, please read the following carefully:
- Effective Fall 2002:
- The 2.7 GPA prerequisite includes BCIS 3615, 3620, 3690, and 4610. This will apply to all students.
- Effective Fall 2003:
- All BCIS undergraduate courses starting with 3615 will have a 2.7 GPA prerequisite. This will apply to all students.
- All BCIS undergraduate majors will be required to take BCIS 3630 and BCIS 3830 (JAVA Programming) as part of their program.
- Effective Fall 2004:
- CSCI 1110 (C or C++) programming is no longer required for the BCIS or DCES majors.
- For students under catalogs before 2003, BCIS 3630 (BCIS 4980 Fall 2002 and Spring 2003) may be used in place CSCI 1110 or as a BCIS elective.
- For students under the 2003 Catalog any University Free Elective will be accepted in place of CSCI 1110.
