Welcome to the Information Technology and Decision Sciences web site. We are one of five departments within the College of Business Administration. ITDS offers Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral programs in Business Computer Information Systems, Decision Technologies, Information Technologies and Management Science. The Department programs were nationally recognized as one of Vedder, Richard "The Five Hottest Colleges in IS."
The rise of the global workplace and the ever-changing nature of information technologies require college graduates who can respond successfully to these challenges, again and again. To maintain and improve the quality of its degree programs the Department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences has a "Partnership for Business and Education." This partnership includes many of the world business leaders located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, ITDS students, ITDS alumni, the Information Systems Research Center, and the Center for Quality and Productivity. One outcome of this partnership is a set of degree programs that customize knowledge and skill requirements to market demands, while preparing all of our students for a commitment to life-long learning.
