The health and welfare of the students and employees at the Health Science Center is a high priority of the administration and faculty.

• All students must have annual health insurance in order to be in compliance with Health Science Center policy.
• The choice of a specific insurance policy is the responsibility of the student.
• While the Health Science Center will not act as an agent between the student and the insurance company, information on specific policies is available in the Office of Student Affairs.
• The student is responsible for payment of all health care costs, including the premium, as determined by the specific health insurance plan chosen.
• Having chosen a plan, the student is responsible for following the rules, regulations, and guidelines of their chosen plan.
