Biographical Sketch
PA Cooper wanted to be in medicine ever since his sixth grade science teacher, Mrs. Corkery, required him to write a paper on the human digestive tract. He attended the High School for the Health Professions in Dallas, Texas, and later studied basic arts and sciences in the Dallas County Community College system. PA Cooper has practiced Family Medicine/ Urgent Care in rural West Texas and in the U.S. Air Force. He joined the UNT faculty in 2005.

Master of Physician Assistant Studies with a specialization in Family Medicine, The University of Nebraska Medical Center at Omaha; January 2000

Bachelor of Science in Health Care Science and a certificate in Physician Assistant Studies, The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas; August 1989.

Certificate of Basic Formation – The Catholic Diocese of San Angelo, Texas. Studies in Ethics, Morality, Spirituality, Church History and Theology.

STEP Program – The University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana. Studies in Ethics, Morality, Theology, and Sacred Scripture.
