Home Calendar Precinct Walk Phase History of Master Planning Process Current Campus Advisory Committee Feedback

Planning with our community UNT Health Science Center will host a public kick-off meeting for its master planning process on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. The meeting will detail the master planning process, its goals and objectives, and solicit input from community members. The meeting will take place in the Education and Administration Building, Room 108 on the health science center campus.

"This meeting will give the community an opportunity to participate in the planning process," said Rich Escalante, UNT System vice chancellor for administrative services. "We look forward to hearing comments, concerns and ideas from the community regarding the future of the health science center and the neighborhood."

A second public meeting will take place in January 2007, tentatively scheduled for Jan. 31.

The UNT System officially contracted with the master planning team of Carter & Burgess/Polshek Partnership Architects in August to begin work on a 15-year Campus Master Plan for UNT Health Science Center at Fort Worth. Through the master planning process, health science center administrators want to address the concerns of the Fort Worth community while planning for the future of all four schools within the health science center.
