University of North Texas Human Resources Department | Training: Building Community Through Welcoming Diversity



	This program is presented by trained leaders from the UNT team of the North Texas Chapter of the National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI). Building Community through Welcoming Diversity workshops seek to promote a multicultural campus climate that truly values diversity. These experiential workshops are designed to assist individuals,
	in an upbeat, positive way learn how to remove the hurt, misinformation, and powerlessness that hold prejudice in place how to experience and express pride in one's own groups how to intervene in the face of offensive remarks and actions
	Workshops are held during the Spring and Fall semesters and one of the summer sessions. All workshops are open to faculty/staff, students, and community members. See the Human Resources Newsletter for the upcoming workshop dates.
