U.S. Income Tax Meetings for 
UNT International students - FREE

Free help and information meetings. 
Stay legal! - Come get help in completing required U.S. tax forms.
Bring your passport and social security card (if you have one).
Bring any tax-related forms you received in the mail.
Bring a blue or black ink pen.   
We will provide the tax form and envelope for mailing the tax form.  

For International students who 
Did NOT have a job
in the U.S. in the year 2005:

For International students who had a job and earned income in the U.S. in the year 2005:

If you were in the U.S. anywhere or at any time in 2005, you should attend this meeting.

If you did not have a job in the USA in the year 2004, you will not have to pay any taxes! 

However, you need to complete ‘tax’ form # 8843 as required by U.S. laws.

NOTE: You do not need to attend these tax meetings if: 
1. You had a B-1 or B-2 visitor's visa throughout all of 2005
2. You arrived after December 31, 2005 to begin studies in 2006
