The MBA in Marketing at the University of North Texas means

Your program consists of 18 hours of "core" business courses and a minimum of 18 hours of "professional field" courses. Your professional field will be Marketing and will consist of an assortment of courses focusing on both theory and applied marketing management skills, all designed to provide you with a competitive edge in today's demanding job market.....

Teaching Assistantships

The Department of Marketing & Logistics frequently employs MBA students as Graduate Assistants to the faculty. Students selected to serve in this capacity are assigned to a faculty member to assist with administrative, teaching, and/or research tasks. Out-of-state tuition waiver (where applicable) is granted for a 20 hour position. Graduate Assistants are required to be enrolled in a minimum of three courses, for a load of 9 credit hours per semester. Once you have been admitted to the MBA program, you may apply for one of these positions by forwarding an electronic copy of your resume to the Marketing & Logistics Department Chair at strutton@unt.edu. You may also mail a letter of application and a current resume to the Marketing Department Chair, Dr. David Strutton, at the mailing address found on our contact us page.
