    An online version of the GRANTS directory database.  Use GrantSelect to locate funding opportunities for scholarships, internships, fellowships as well as grant resources.  Select "paid subscriber" to access this product. Grant Select contains specific information on over 10,000 funding opportunities provided by more than 4000 sponsoring organizations.

  2. Academic Search Premier
    A scholarly collection providing full text journal coverage for nearly all academic areas of study.

  3. Research Library
    (Formerly known as Periodical Abstracts Research II.)  Contains indexing and abstracting to significant articles appearing in top general and academic periodicals, as well as full text from more than 600 journals.

  4. WorldCat
    OCLC Online Union Catalog, containing more than 1 billion records describing items owned by your library or libraries around the world; each record contains library holdings. Does not include individual articles, stories in journals, magazines, newspapers, or book chapters.

Locating Your Journal in the UNT Libraries

Journals may be located in any of these four UNT Libraries locations:

  1. Willis Library

  2. Science and Technology Library (Information Sciences Building)

  3. Media Library (Chilton Hall)

  4. Research Park Library

  5. Remote Storage (Libraries Annex) 

Journals are shelved in alphabetical order by their titles. A journal title that appears as an abbreviation is shelved at the beginning of the section starting with that letter of the alphabet. (Example: CSF Notebook is shelved in the C section before Cable T.V. and New Media, Law & Finance.) 

New or current journals are shelved separately from bound journals. If you cannot find the journal issue you need, check the UNT Online Library Catalog, http://iii.library.unt.edu  or ask for help at the nearest Service or Reference Desk .
