In 2002, charitable planned gift arrangements to UNT surged to a record $29.3 million in new planned gift commitments. That brings the total planned gifts for Campaign North Texas: An Act of Leadership to $68.6 million.

UNT would like to honor those who have established planned gift arrangements to the university through the founding of The 1890 Heritage Society. Those who have established a planned gift arrangement for the benefit of UNT shall become inaugural inductees to the Society. The 1890 Heritage Society will provide special recognition for these benefactors and their act of leadership in insuring a strong financial future for UNT.
