I cycle to work along the Hammersmith and Chiswick Thames Path and this is often the sight i am faced with...... The further into Chiswick i get (closer to the eyot) the more the river wall seems to disappear to reveal lush gardens wildlife and muddy banks. The trade off is well worth it, i dont mind the occasional soggy shins in return of getting to cycle along this majestic river.
