Ivana Corsale, a MA Documentary film student at UNT, has completed her documentary Campania in-Felix: Unhappy Country with support from CSID.
The film explores what Corsale is calling an Ecomafia that has ruined the environment in an area of Italy that was once Rome’s bread basket.
As most will know, there is the famous scene in The Godfather where Brando makes the famous cinematic line, “I’m gonna make you an offer you can’t refuse…”
The new ecomafia is making such an offer, and wherever we encounter it, we should refuse to let them go through with it.
