While this isn't bad, it's no substitute for the original and genuine article, 'The Old Farmer's Almanac,' which is now in its 223rd year of continuous publication. Both publications provide similar information on a wide variety of topics, however the Old Farmer's Almanac provides a great deal more of it.
The weather forecasts in this publication are totally inaccurate and no farmer in his/her right mind would ever depend on them. They do provide some comic relief, as they're virtually never right. That's not to say that the forecasts by the Old Farmer's Almanac are much better, as they too are usually wrong.
Both almanacs will provide you with hours of reading, tons of ads for useless products and tips on gardening, baking and just about anything else under the sun. You'll find products and services advertised that you didn't even know existed.
The bottom line is that if you're looking for one almanac and want the best, than do yourself a favor and purchase the 2015 edition of the Old Farmer's Almanac and not this one. The OFA is the original and never to be outdone publication that has stood the test of time. The almanac presented here doesn't measure up.

EVERY year, I get this Almanac, and now the Kindle version is my favorite, and have found the weather forecasts as the most accurate of any publication out there! Lots of helpful tips and interesting articles. I don't feel it is as ad heavy as the traditional rival one which to me is much more ad heavy than this version. This Farmer's Almanac weather forecasts have been followed by meteorologists the world over for their secret process which in some way involves the sun spot patterns each year among other things which helps them come up with the closest, most accurate week by week and month by month weather predictions. Though not 100% accurate, I'd say they're in the 90% which is a LOT more than you can say for other weather forecasters out there. Anyway, try it, you'll like it and refer to it often and watch the matches in weather for your area!

I was expecting the traditional Farmer's Almanac... This is Farmer's Almanac Lite and Advertising heavy. I knew this was not the product I'd been expecting when I saw the ad for 21st century green burial - composting...
