BJ now requires that authors' specific contributions to submitted work be listed in an "Author Contributions" section of the manuscript.  See the revised Authorship section of the Author Guidelines.

BJ is accepting submissions of Computational Tools, short articles describing software and databases that can help readers in their research. 

The Journal is accepting papers longer than the current 10-page limit, allowing authors who need more space to tell their complete story in BJ. See details here. 

BJ is collecting ORCID identifiers through the manuscript submission site.
