Jordan M. Kincaid is Visiting Fellow at CSID, a Master of Science candidate at the Bard Center for Environmental Policy, and graduate of the University of Texas at Austin’s philosophy and government departments. At CSID, he is working to fulfill the internship requirement of his M.S. in Environmental Policy by contributing to the Future of Energy project, which aims to explore the ethical dimensions and policy questions surrounding hydraulic fracturing for natural gas on the Barnett Shale. His broader interests include the evolution of the idea of progress, the ethics of sustainability and sustainable development, the environmental impacts of campaign finance regulation, and social norms and politics about climate change.
