Stretch the good vibes of the season with our second Summer Food Truck Rodeo of 2014! Bring a blanket or a lawn chair so that YOU can enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable Durham afternoon with friends and family. Raleigh’s young hip hop/funk/brass band Big Brotha Thunda (featuring the Knowles brothers on bass, trumpet and tenor sax and David Klingman – keys, Josh Scott – drums, Kurtis Bass – trombone/guitar, Raekwon Williams – Rapper and Djembe Patrick “Pat Daddy” Hoelzle- Baritone sax. Music and vibe is free, all you have to pay for is food and beverage from your choice of 40+ local trucks.

The Duke University ResearchMobile is a mobile laboratory for research in the social and behavioral sciences funded by a Major Research Instrumentation grant from the National Science Foundation.

The 37-ft. air-conditioned trailer is equipped with four soundproofed cubicles, each capable of holding up to two participants for studying either individuals or dyads. Each cubicle has a writing surface, computer, monitor, and two cameras for audio-video recording. In addition, equipment is available for measuring physiological responses such as heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, and galvanic skin response.
