Sociology PhD Students Attend Conference at the National Institutes of Health

Sociology Ph.D. students, Michael NiƱo and Nichola Driver attended the annual Add Health Users Conference from June 25-27, 2014 in Bethesda, Maryland. While there, Michael presented his study, titled "Social Withdrawal and Delinquency and Violent Behavior over the Life Course: A Network Perspective." Nichola presented her study, titled "Acculturation in Context: Neighborhoods and Pro-pregnancy Attitudes among Immigrant Adolescents." Both Michael and Nichola were offered travel stipends from the UNC-Chapel Hill, the Add Health administrators, to attend.
