Hi. My name is Matt. I recently returned to my native home in the Rocky Mountains of Denver, Colorado. I frequently travel throughout the Southwest for assignments, having lived in New Mexico and Texas. I love to roam and my projects have taken me all over the world.
Growing up, I spent much of my free time getting lost in the mountains, filming movies with my friends, and jamming on the saxophone in my school jazz band (we went to State in '97!)
My love for nature and the outdoors, as well as my interest in people and culture, is central to my photography. I strive to learn and share stories about the people I am photographing and the environments they are in.
I speak English, Spanish and I’m learning Italian. I have to because my fiancé grew up in Sicily. I now eat too many cannoli.
