Here lies Art Lies
Art Lies, the regional art mag with national ambitions, will cease publication of its printed journal and website content as of May 2011. Seventeen years and 68 issues after its scrappy inception by ex-Houston Artists Don Carroll and Mark Allen, cuts in arts funding have made the thick, glossy magazine “financially unsustainable.”
